The mayor of Toronto has said there is no point to build bike lanes because
"I can’t support bike lanes. How many people are riding outside today? We
don’t live in Florida. We don’t have 12 months a year to ride on the bikes."
Oh yeah? In that case, I live in the Very, very Northern Florida!

A sure sign of spring
Although the snow has been melting, and I've seen some catkins, I haven't seen any new growth green (grass grown on plates for easter decorations do not count) to mark the beginning of the spring yet.
But today, despite the sleet and rain and a cloudy day, I saw them.
