The mayor of Toronto has said there is no point to build bike lanes because
"I can’t support bike lanes. How many people are riding outside today? We
don’t live in Florida. We don’t have 12 months a year to ride on the bikes."
Oh yeah? In that case, I live in the Very, very Northern Florida!

People making their own paths
A path over the grass in the summer
People can make their own paths in the snow. Just keep walking, and the snow will be packed tight. Once it's hardened, you can even cycle on it. Just be careful and don't fall off the path. :-)
An unpaved jogging path
This is a route some skiers use to get to the machine made ski tracks. On some maps this section is also supposed to be maintained by machines, but it's not been done. Well, snow is no problem for skiers, obviously...
